And as we continue to share on the best dog-friendly happenings in the Alamo City, we’re reaching out to our community to help show off just how dog-friendly San Antonio is––and to promote pawsitive change.

We’re SUPER grateful to our team of contributors who’ve been an integral part of our growth this year. With that in mind, we’re opening the doors to grow our team even more in 2020. If you’re passionate about dogs and San Antonio, we’re interested in hearing from you! Here are some of the ways you can join our team:

Contributing Writer

This is a volunteer position. Read all the details below:

What You Get:

  1. Your photo and bio on the Dog Friendly team page, with links to your personal website and/or social media channels.
  2. Opportunity to be the first to know about dog-friendly happenings in San Antonio.
  3. Access to our online team community.
  4. Coffee shop meetings, doggy kisses, new friends, puppy playdates and more!

What You Give:

  1. One original blog post per month on a dog-related topic of your choice, within our brand and vision of creating a pawsitive online community.
  2. A 12-month commitment beginning on February 21, 2020
  3. A passion for dogs, dog-owners, and the San Antonio area.
  4. Reliability, flexibility, and a great attitude.

How to Apply:

  1. Fill out the contributor application form (including a writing sample) here.
  2. Submit your application by January 31, 2020.

Team Photographer

This is a volunteer position. Read all the details below:

What You Get:

  1. Your photo and bio on the Dog Friendly team page, with links to your personal website and/or social media channels.
  2. Credit for your photos across our social platforms and website.
  3. Opportunity to be the first to know about dog-friendly happenings in San Antonio.
  4. Access to our online team community.
  5. Coffee shop meetings, doggy kisses, new friends, puppy playdates and more!

What You Give:

  1. 10-15 original photos per month from one (or more) local dog event(s) of your choice, exclusive to Dog Friendly SA.
  2. A 12-month commitment beginning on February 21, 2020
  3. A passion for dogs, dog-owners, and the San Antonio area.
  4. Reliability, flexibility, and a great attitude.

How to Apply:

  1. Fill out the photographer application form (including photo samples) here.
  2. Submit your application by January 31, 2020.

Event Volunteer

This is a volunteer position. Read all the details below:

What You Get:

  1. Your photo and bio on the Dog Friendly team page, with links to your personal website and/or social media channels.
  2. Opportunity to be the first to know about dog-friendly happenings in San Antonio.
  3. Access to our online team community.
  4. Coffee shop meetings, doggy kisses, new friends, puppy playdates and more!

What You Give:

  1. Volunteer time at 4-6 Dog Friendly SA hosted events a year (approximately one a quarter).
  2. A 12-month commitment beginning on February 21, 2020
  3. A passion for dogs, dog-owners, and the San Antonio area.
  4. Reliability, flexibility, and a great attitude.
