Essex Modern City is an up-and-coming mixed-used urban infill project on the Eastside of San Antonio. With groundbreaking for development still to come, you’ve probably seen photos of the #EssexArt project popping up on Instagram featuring incredible murals from national and local artists alike.
If you’ve been wanting to check it out, then you’re in luck because they’re hosting their monthly Essex Street Art event this Saturday 9/8 from 6-9 PM.Â
We stopped by last month and were pleasantly surprised to meet so many fine-looking pups, like Akira (first picture above), and muralist James Saldivar‘s Bull Terrier, Dag (be sure you check out Dag’s Insta).
Saturday’s event will undoubtedly feature new artwork, free beer, and friendly faces––hope to see you there!
