DESCRIPTION:Come join us for our monthly Boston Terrier social! http://img1.meetupstatic.com/img/smileys/smile.gifWhen you enter the park from Military Highway\, take the first right. The dog park is along your right side behind the bushes/trees. The parking lot is on your left. We will be there from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM. We will be in the small dog section of the dog park. \nIf the parking lot is full\, go back to the main entrance street and turn right. There will be additional parking just down the street all within walking distance of the dog park. \nIt’s always lots of fun to see so many Boston Terriers running all over the place. (The most we’ve had at one time was around 30. C-R-A-Z-Y!!!!!) DESCRIPTION:We are the Texas Brewery Running Series™ and we run for beer!\nSee you at Ranger Creek Brewing and Distilling on Saturday\, January 28 – fun run starts from the taproom at 11AM. \nWe’ve mapped out a 5k-ish course that starts and ends at Ranger Creek. Run\, walk\, jog – whatever goes! All ages\, all levels are welcome. \nCross the finish line and celebrate! All participants receive: \n\nA craft brew at the finish line from Ranger Creek Brewing and Distilling\nChoice of a collector’s pint glass or seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series\nA chance to win sweet door prizes\, like Brewery Running Series merchandise or beer to take home\nAccess to event festivities like live music\, games\, goodies and giveaways\nAnd more!\n\nOur mission is to be active\, have fun and give back to our local community. A portion of all proceeds from our events support local nonprofits – over $395k raised to date! This event will add to that tally. 10% of all proceeds with be donated to the San Antonio Food Bank\, so not only do you get be active and enjoy great craft beer\, you are you are helping us a support local organization that does important work in our community. We are also hosting a food drive and every item of non-perishable food you bring to donate earns you a ticket for our Hunger Fighters Raffle. \nRegistration is limited to the size of the taproom and many of our events sell out. Sign up today! \nImportant details: \n\nThis is an untimed\, fun-run. All levels of walkers\, runners and joggers are welcome.\nThis is an open course\, meaning roads will NOT be closed. You are responsible for obeying all traffic laws and regulations.\nWe create each route to start and end at the brewery and the course will be marked with arrows to help you know where to go.\nYou must bring a valid ID or driver’s license. You do not need to be 21 to enjoy the event\, but you must be 21 to enjoy the beer. Please drink responsibly. Registered\, underage participants will receive a token for a FREE non-alcoholic beverage.\nOur events are rain or shine! If conditions become unsafe to run\, we will still hang out and drink beer.\nThere will not be a bag check; please plan accordingly and dress appropriately for the weather.\nDogs and strollers are welcome on the course\, with care and caution. Please remember – you are running at your own risk on city sidewalks / streets / trails\, which might not be suitable for your 4-legged and /or pint size running buddies. DESCRIPTION:The Animal Defense League of Texas and Animal Care Services will be hosting a pet vaccination and microchipping event each month to support our community members and pets in need. The ADL mobile clinic will be in your community on February 4\, 2023\, at West End Park\, 1401 N Hamilton from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Clinic services are available for San Antonio residents only and free of cost with proof of residency (a valid driver’s license or ID card).\n\nWhat’s included: Free vaccines\, microchips\, and prevention (for select district\, while supplies last)\n\nWhat to expect: Clinic services are available for San Antonio residents only. Limit to 100 pets served\, 3 pets per household. All services are offered on a first-come\, first-served basis.\n\nFor your pets: All canines must remain on a leash or in a carrier. All felines must remain in a carrier\, one adult per carrier or two kittens per carrier. Each eligible pet 12 weeks or older will receive a 1-year Rabies vaccine. DHPP vaccines will be provided for canines. FVRCP vaccines will be provided for felines. Each pet receiving services must be microchipped or will receive a microchip at time of service. Up to one year supply of flea and tick prevention will be given while supplies last to residents who live in District 1. Weight restrictions apply.
