Come experience the beauty of Lost Maples. Plan is to hike both West & East Loop for a moderate~7 miles. Early exit point available. Event is dog friendly. Great idea to pack snacks or a light lunch for the halfway point. More details to come. Hike starts at 10:30am.
Join the annual family friendly, pet friendly 5K! Proceeds will benefit Alamo Area Partners for Animal Welfare (AAPAW) which provides support and veterinary funding for rescue groups in and around the San Antonio area. San Antonio Parks and Recreation is looking for outgoing dog-lovers to become Dog Park Ambassadors. Volunteers will help staff educate park visitors about dog park etiquette and safety in order to create a safe and fun experience for all. An online orientation will be hosted on Tuesday, Nov. 15 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
