But just in case it’s $3 by kiosk\nOutdoor restrooms available. \nSpring Lake Natural Area is a little known 251-acre park that sits just above Spring Lake\, the headwaters of the San Marcos River. Bring water\, poop bats\, and keep leashes no longer than 6 feet. Also stay to the right side of the trail\, to allow runners and cyclists passing room. \nTrail Conditions: We’re looking at approximately 3-4 miles(1 & 1/2 hours)\, of gravel and partially shaded trails. It’s one of our favorites! \nWe’ll shoot for about a 2-3 mile walk around the park’s trails and adjacent areas. We can adjust the length depending on who attends and there are plenty of exit points for those who want a shorter walk. These are paved and gravel trails with a few water fountains and restrooms scattered around the area. \nThe starting point is at Lions Field Park on 2809 Broadway\, right next to what used to be the historic “Kiddie Park\,” across the street from Taco Cabana. \nHope to see you there!

DESCRIPTION:Come join us for our monthly Boston Terrier social! http://img1.meetupstatic.com/img/smileys/smile.gifWhen you enter the park from Military Highway\, take the first right.  The dog park is along your right side behind the bushes/trees.  The parking lot is on your left.  We will be there from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM. We will be in the small dog section of the dog park. \nIf the parking lot is full\, go back to the main entrance street and turn right.  There will be additional parking just down the street all within walking distance of the dog park. \nIt’s always lots of fun to see so many Boston Terriers running all over the place. (The most we’ve had at one time was around 30.  C-R-A-Z-Y!!!!!)  As one first time participant said\, “These is organized chaos.”  It’s a good idea to bring your own water bottle and bowl. Toys too. And plastic bags for those accidents.  We look forward to seeing you!  \nIMPORTANT: Please stop to read the dog park rules which are posted at the dog park’s entrance.

San Antonio St\, San Marcos\, TX EVERY 4th Saturday of the month.\n\nThe Pet Food Pantry is intended to provide pet food to pet owners experiencing economic hardship and in need of temporary assistance feeding their pet(s). Please review the policies below that were created to encourage responsible pet ownership and ensure that there is enough food for everyone.\n\nPALS Pet Food Pantry Policies:\n• Pet food will be provided on a first come first serve basis\, and distributed until supply is depleted.\n• The pet food pantry is intended to supplement the pet food you serve to your pets. PALS is not responsible for providing an entire month’s worth of pet food.\n• Food cannot be guaranteed for more than 3 pets per household.\n• All pets receiving food must be spayed/neutered\, have a scheduled spay/neuter appointment\, or be placed on PALS spay/neuter voucher list at the time of receiving pet food.
