DESCRIPTION:Footbridge Foundation’s inaugural fundraiser event ‘Off The Leash’ will be hosted by local celebrity Chef Johnny Hernandez\, on November 12\, 2022\, from 2pm-5pm\, at his much-anticipated Southtown margarita bar\, Casa Hernán Cantina. \nFootbridge Foundation invites you to this exciting event to celebrate the work that they undertake in San Antonio and to help raise money for our furry friends! \nAll ticket purchases\, donations\, and silent auction proceeds will go directly toward rescuing cats and dogs in San Antonio as Footbridge Foundation continues to expand. With your help now\, we will establish our first surgery center in the Spring of 2023\, providing a much-needed service to San Antonio. We will also provide vaccinations\, preventative care\, food\, shelter\, care\, and compassion until we are able to match each animal with a loving adopter. \nThe tickets will include: \nExclusive access to Johnny Hernandez’s newest and much anticipated Casa Hernán Cantina. \nFood and drink\, to include a selection of incredible botanas and two signature margaritas courtesy of Johnny Hernandez. \nEntertainment: \nRoma Villavicencio host of Great Day SA on Kens 5. Roma will be our fabulous MC for the event. She enjoys meeting new people and sharing stories and experiences with all of San Antonio and will be sharing a few stories at ‘Off the Leash’. \nFalco is a music producer and teaches DJ at the AM Project\, a nonprofit that uses digital art and music to empower children. Falco focuses on open format blending of pop\, reggae\, and other party beats! \nMariachi Diamante & Los Mayorales will close the party\, bringing their own unique sound to the event. Brush up on your mariachi classics\, as requests will be welcome! \nIn addition to the great venue and entertainment\, Footbridge Foundation will be hosting a ‘Silent Auction’. The auction will begin 10 days before the event and will close 30 minutes before the event finishes. The dog park is along your right side behind the bushes/trees. The parking lot is on your left. We will be there from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM. We will be in the small dog section of the dog park. \nIf the parking lot is full\, go back to the main entrance street and turn right. There will be additional parking just down the street all within walking distance of the dog park. \nIt’s always lots of fun to see so many Boston Terriers running all over the place. (The most we’ve had at one time was around 30. C-R-A-Z-Y!!!!!)
