DESCRIPTION:The famous holiday lights on the River Walk turned on early this year! Come down and enjoy the holiday cheer anytime between Friday\, November 13\, 2020 through the first weekend in January 2021. Lights will remain on from dusk to dawn each night.\nVisiting the River Walk to enjoy the spectacular holiday lights is free\, and we invite you to experience the spectacular display of over 100\,000 lights (2\,250 strings of light) draped over the towering cypress trees that line the River Walk.\nThe #SARiverWalk is a public park and is open every day of the year\, 24 hours a day. The lights are a gift to the public from the San Antonio River Walk Association and the City of San Antonio. Holiday lights are on the downtown portion of the River Walk. DESCRIPTION:Enjoy the San Antonio Botanical Garden’s 38 acres of holiday blooms with your four-legged friends. Dress up your fur family in the best holiday attire and join the Deck the Paws Parade. Winners from each category will receive a prize. Deck the Paws Parade will also feature dog vendors\, and food and drinks available for purchase (for the humans).\nDoggy Dress Up Contest Categories:\n– Best Costume Overall\n– Best Dog/Owner Costume\n– Best Puppy in Costume (for dogs 1 and under)\n– Best Duo Costume (for dogs with a matching theme)\nThe parade begins at 10 a.m. by Mays Family Display Garden and goes around Greehey Lawn. Doggy Dress Up Contest begins at 10:45 a.m. at Greehey Lawn.\nFee: Included with Garden admission + $5 per leashed dog. Members enjoy free admission + $5 per leashed dog.\nDog Guidelines\n– All dogs on-site must be current with appropriate shots and registrations.\n– Dogs in heat or aggressive animals may be removed from the Garden at the discretion of the management; no refunds.\n– No dogs will be allowed in the Garden after 12 p.m. and all dogs must be on a leash at all times.\n– No dogs will be allowed at The Zachary Foundation Culinary Garden\, Family Adventure Garden\, and Children’s Vegetable Garden
