DESCRIPTION:**THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED** \nHemisfair has made the difficult decision to cancel all community programming during the month of March out of an abundance of caution for COVID-19. \nJoin Dog Friendly San Antonio for a spring-themed costume contest during Hemisfair’s Paws in the Park event on Saturday\, March 21st. The festival is free\, but registration for the costume contest is required. \nCostume categories are Best Spring Look\, Best Owner-Doggy Duo\, and Best in Show\, with one winner in each category. Winners will each receive a gift certificate for Lucy’s Doggy Day Care and Spa and a 3 month subscription to Willie & Roo along with other doggie goodies. Group costumes require a Dog Pack ticket. \nRegister Now \nDay-of check in will be from 6 – 6:50PM\, and the contest begins at 7PM. \nContest Rules: \n• Contestants must register dog(s) online or in person before contest begins and display their registration number (received at check in) at all times\n• Contestants can enter more than one dog per competition\, but each dog must be registered\n• Pairs or groups may be registered as a team\n• All dogs must be on leash during costume contest\n• Dogs must be under voice control at all times\n• Awards will be given for Best Spring Look\, Best Owner-Doggy Duo\, and Best in Show\n• Contestants must arrive at competition site 10 minutes prior start time
