DESCRIPTION:You will see results! Our goal is to make every workout challenging and fun for both you and your dog. Just like with dog training\, we believe in the power of positive reinforcement to get the best out of each participant – even the naughty ones. Our Cross-Training incorporates cardio\, strength training\, agility\, core work\, and our very own Down and Dirty Obstacle Course loved by people and dogs alike. You will be challenged\, you will bond with your dog\, and you’ll both have a great time! \n\nClasses are held every Saturday at 8:30 am (beginning Nov. 4)\nClasses meet on the east side of the park (off of Blanco) on the center island.\nWorkouts are designed for all fitness and training levels (both human and canine).\nThe first Saturday class of every month is free as part of Fitness in the Parks (not applicable to existing members as it’s intended as an introductory class)\n\nPRICING \n\n*BEST DEAL* $55/month for unlimited classes! (Minimum 3-month commitment required)\n$140 for 10-pack of classes (Good for 4 months)\n$85 for 5-pack of classes (Good for 60 days)\n$20 for a single class\n$5 for first-timers to try us out\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWHAT TO BRING\n\nYour dog!\nWater for you and your dog\nBags for clean-up (of you-know-what)\nA mat or towel (they wash easily!) for ground work (recommended for comfort\, but not required)\nPlease wear comfortable\, weather-appropriate workout attire and appropriate shoes.\nPlease\, no treats or personal toys (it distracts our doggy friends)

SUMMARY:Paws in the Pool
DESCRIPTION:The dog days of summer are still hanging on so it’s time to get your pup’s paws in the pool and cool off! Join us on Saturday\, September 8 at Pickrell Park Pool from 12:00 – 4:00 PM for this special event for dogs and their owners. Admission is $3 per person (cash or check only) and two dogs per person are allowed. \nAll dogs must be on leash outside the pool facility and must wear a collar they can swim in. Owners must show proof of dog vaccinations at gate and clean up after their dog. Any aggressive dog will be asked to leave. The small dog area is in the wading pool\, and the large dog area is in the main pool. Bring your lawn chairs and dog toys. Concessions will be available for purchase from Reggie’s Hot Dogs and Cori Jean Ice Cream. \nCall the Parks & Recreation Department for more information at (210) 619-1850 or come by the office at 10 Commercial Place\, Building #1\, Schertz\, TX 78154.
