Join us (along with special furry guest from TXCR) at the Spare Parts Center for Creative Reuse (13491 Wetmore Rd. 78247) Saturday, May 21 from 3:30-5:30pm for an upcycled dog toy workshop!
All ages, though children should be accompanied by an adult. $15, with all proceeds benefiting Spare Parts and Texas Chihuahua Rescue, Inc! Supplies included and spots limited. Email illustrageous@gmail.com to pay and reserve your spot.
Dog toys at the pet store can be expensive and made of materials that aren’t environmentally friendly. Local artist Brittany Tucker will show you how to make your own dog toys from materials you likely already have around the house. You’ll even learn how to make engaging enrichment puzzles and games for your pups that help them focus their extra energy and build their confidence, all with recyclable and reusable items!
Disclaimer: We will be making dog toys from safe materials for your pet; but, as with most dog toys, please monitor your pets during playtime and remove toys that could pose a hazard if torn/ingested.
