The Historic Pearl’s live music summer series concludes Friday, August 30 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in Pearl Park. This installation of Canciones, Mujeres de Música, features three influential bands that have been part of the city’s music scene for decades.
A Z U L will serve as musical director and emcee for an evening of music that features songs by iconic Latina artists past and present. Barrientos will be joined by celebrated performers
Las Tesoros de San Antonio & Eva Ybarra, Queen of the Accordion. The artists will perform original songs and pay tribute to legendary female musicians such as Lydia Mendoza, Rita Vidaurri, Consuelito Velazquez, and more.
This event is free and open to the public. Guests may bring picnic blankets and foldable chairs (standard size). Food and drinks will be available for purchase at Bottling Department, Southerleigh Fine Food & Brewery oyster bar, Larder, and more!
