2018 Barkitecture San Antonio~ is a city-wide Jr. High, High School & College competition for students to build the “BEST” dog house in San Antonio. Students will compete for the title of “BEST in Show” at a day long festival April 14, 2018.
These “one of a kind” dog houses will be judged at 10am and then auctioned off to the public in a silent auction, with a portion of the proceeds to be donated to pet rescue and adoption non-profits! Auction takes place throughout the day, till 4pm when event ends.
* Free festival & open to the public.
* Dog house competition. Silent Auction of all Dog House entries.
* FREE- 300 rabies shots & 300 microchipping to the public from 1pm- 4pm. (First come basis.)
* Dog adoptions from multiple rescue non-profits.
* Classic car staging from PushRods Car Club.
* Doggy Costume Contest & Wiener Derby (Open to the public.).
* Vendors, Food Trucks and various live entertainment.
Family, children and dog friendly FREE to the public festival. (All dogs must be up to date on vaccines and kept on a leash.) City-wide Jr. High & High School competition. (See page for schools competing.)
