Join us for our 5th annual Barkitecture San Antonio on Saturday, September 26, 2020! This year’s beneficiary will be the Battered Women’s Center, San Antonio. This is a city-wide student competition, with invitations sent out to ALL school districts to build the “Best Dog House” in town. Entries are submitted by architect & engineering groups the morning of our day-long festival for judging. After awarding the winners, each entry is then put up for sale to the public in a silent auction. Proceeds from the silent auction will be donated to our beneficiary.
Art/crafts, exhibitors, and pet services take place throughout the day. There will be pet services, obedience training exhibits, and a Doggy Contest too. We’ll have face painting & train rides for the children and multiple photo booths for keepsakes. Yummy food trucks will join us to provide all the fan favorites. Tons of fun for the whole family… especially for your furry pups.
Lockwood Park is a beautiful park in the historic Dignowity Hills neighborhood, just east of downtown with an amazing skyline of the city. Come join us and spread the word so that we can make a HUGE donation to the Battered Women’s Shelter’s capital campaign for a new pet facility.
